Grace: A licence to make wrongs right?

Text:
1 Corinthians 6:12
Someone will say, "I am allowed to do anything." Yes; but not everything is good for you. I could say that I am allowed to do anything, but I am not going to let anything make me its slave.(GNT)

Someone may assume that he can do anything, act the way he so desires without blinking an eye about the right-and-wrong system. Yes, that's what is expected of us since we are no longer under the law of wrongs and punishment. We are now fully operational under Grace already purchased for us by the blood of Jesus. Eph. 1:6-7. Rom. 5:1-2.

Hey! Wait, does that imply that everything we do as Christians automatically gets the "Yeah, right" approval? Definitely NO. Our actions are not supposed to be as we like it but as God desires it. The Grace of God is not and will never be a license for immorality. If we sin, God forgives us as kids are forgiven by their dads but the simple undeniable fact that your Dad is going to forgive you everytime you commit an offense should not make you want to make more mistakes, instead you should prove to Him that you are growing and getting matured by not making the same mistakes over and over again.

Now here is what Paul was putting across in that passage.
He must have been like (from verse 1 Cor. 6:9-12)
"Hey pals, You sure know that wicked guys won't be allowed to rule with God. He is not wicked.
Don't get it twisted,
people who do not fancy doing right stuffs
or who idolizes things or people,
people who do have extramarital affairs (or even premarital illicit affairs),
homosexuals (Men who feel it is right to have sex with men or women who feel the same towards women),
those who steal and take what does not rightly belong to them without getting due permission from the owner,
guys who only want to get everything for themselves not minding if others have gotten (the greedy guys),
people who make it their business saying bad things concerning others to make them look bad (those who bad-mouth or slander others)
and then thieves-
You can be sure they are not going heaven with us to be with God when we either die or the rapture takes place before then.

Do you remember those times you were like that too before you gave your lives to Christ? Yeah, that was then. I'm sure you no longer do those things. Since God has taken His time to cleanse you from all those past wrongs, now I believe your lives will be dedicated to just doing God's will. It's great! God now sees you as a friend and no longer someone against Him. Thanks to Jesus Christ.

You will be right to say "I am free to do anything! (since I have the backup of God). But come to think of it, is it good to just do anything you'd like to? Consider it yourselves-- a friend of the Mayor, the Governor of a state or even the President who goes about breaking the law on the account of his friend. Don't you think such should be ashamed? He is an embarrassment to his good friend. In the same way, I am a friend of God but I am not gonna let that get into my head that it makes me wanna do bad stuffs. Yeah, really I can do anything but I won't get involved in wrongdoings intentionally to the point of having bad habits."

If you want to make further studies on God's Grace and our duties as His friends and children, the books of Romans (just 16 chapters, you could read through in two days or max 4 and then study in parts later) and Ephesians (Just 6 chapters, read through now). They are both simple to understand and are both written by Apostle Paul.
Also 1 John too goes a long way in showing us how to behave as children of God, consider reading it soon too.
